Terminal speed is associated with your phone line or internet. If a terminal has been slow, check to see if your phone line or internet is working properly. If your phone line or internet works fine, you should turn off the terminal, wait 20~30 seconds, and then turn on the terminal. If it’s an internet terminal, please turn off terminal-router-modem (in this order). Please wait 2 minutes before turning modem-router-terminal back on. Please note it may take some time to see activation signal.
The Message indicates there's a problem to close the batch. Some transactions are made under bad connection caused it. You need to call CDS customer service to solve it.
You can get a batch report if it is not settled. If the batch has been already settled, the terminal deletes the transaction data; therefore, you would be unable to print the batch report from the terminal.
If it is a Verifone device, you can check the power connection from the bottom of the device to outlet.
If it is a PAX device, you can press and hold the power button on device. It is located right above the “1” button.

Contactless Pay has to be made with “credit” sale. So, you can try the sale with “credit”.
The message indicates the chip on card has a problem or the device has a problem to read the chip. So, you can clean the chip on card and try to make the sale again. If the card holder mentioned the chip is not working, you can try the sale with chip 3 times. After that the device will accept “the swipe”. But you must not to make “manual” sale.
